Dora’s Mermaid Adventures

Throughout Summer 2025, I worked full-time as a production assistant at FableVision Studios in Boston, MA, and am continuing to work part time during the academic year. One of the projects I have the honor of working on is Dora’s Mermaid Adventures, produced by Nickelodeon and FableVision’s Audiyo-yo division.

As a PA on the project, I was responsible for compiling all necessary materials for recording sessions, such as scripts, relevant music files, and line references for shared lines between more than one actor. During records, I noted all the takes indicated by the director, formatted, and uploaded them for the whole team to reference. In post production, I compiled the underscore for each episode by listening to the dialogue edit, indexing where each transisiton should be, and slotting in a piece of music from the source library. I then communicated with the editor to make any necessary revisions, and attended spotting sessions with the FableVision and Nickelodeon producers to incorporate their notes.

Working on Dora’s Mermaid Adventures has been nothing short of fin-tastic, and I am beyond proud to be a part of it. Give this mer-mazing project a listen wherever you get your podcasts!
